The one thing Styles is most nervous about for college isn’t the classes or the social aspects or whether or not he’ll get good grades.
It’s student loan debt.
Rightfully so, it’s daunting to know you want to go into the performing arts or to become a teacher if the performing arts doesn’t work out.
Neither path is painfully lucrative, right? I mean, potentially, sure, but realistically? Meh…
Which is why I’m so grateful that Kyle went to college thanks to Florida Prepaid and came out with no student loan debt. None.
The only student loan debt that we are still paying on is my own, and I don’t want my kids to follow in my footsteps.
I didn’t know about Florida Prepaid when Styles was young and now that he’s a junior in high school, I’d have to pay too much to make it work, which is why we are so focused on his grades so that he gets scholarships.
I’m not saying my kids shouldn’t have good grades.
What I am saying is that if we had Florida Prepaid for Styles, he wouldn’t be so stressed out about making sure that he had good enough grades for scholarships. That’s a really difficult pill to swallow as a parent.
My kids shouldn’t have to stress out about how they’re going to pay for college. Their job should be to get good grades in college and to have fun, because college really should be a fun time in your life. Classes are stressful enough!
That’s why it’s important to start thinking about paying for college when your children are young.
The first of the year is the best time to set new budgets and financial goals for yourself. It’s also a great time to activate family who is doing the same. With Florida Prepaid plans, there are options for other people to purchase years or entire plans for your children, and the earlier you start, the less you have to pay each month.
You can use the code FLOOR1718 for $25 off the Florida Prepaid enrollment fee , and don’t miss your window to enroll, open enrollment is only open until February 28th!
Be like my husband and help your children graduate college with no student loan debt whatsoever!
