Michael Rooker on Yondu’s redemption:
Michael: Wasn’t important to me at all. It’s not, it’s not anything I really thought about, no. No. Just, no, it doesn’t bother me.
Sean: No, I know. He doesn’t think, he doesn’t work like that.
Michael on Yondu’s death:
I’m used to dying. I’ve died several times. Many times in different movies and different TV shows and it doesn’t hurt at all. It’s okay I’ll be back somewhere.
Michael and Sean both dish on how emotional filming Yondu’s death was:
Michael: You know, it was emotional. It was very, very emotional for everyone but me. I was mostly sleeping, swear to God.
Sean: When we’re doing the funeral scene at the end where Chris has his big speech and we’re all there, we’re all super sad and all of the sudden you hear [MAKES SNORING NOISES]. Rooker was out. So funny.
Michael: I don’t know why. I have no idea, but it put me to sleep.
