Just kidding, I’m not going to get all stark raving mad up in here, I just wanted to say that. Because in the land of Alice, everybody really is mad, and maybe I’m not kidding as much as I say I was, because I’m a little crazy too – aren’t we all?
Sorry, I’m beginning to sound like Lewis Carroll, which is a little mad.
Let me not forget the reason for this quick little post – Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass is hitting theaters on May 27, and in true Tim Burton style, Johnny Depp will be sitting pretty as the Mad Hatter in the next installment of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Did you ever read the books? I read them as a teenager and then again as an adult, and they are some of my favorite books. My favorite characters in the books are Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, they’re insanely memorable.
I’m also a fan of the Red Queen, especially Helena Bonham Carter style. Her style of rule kind of reminds me of my parenting style. Just a little.
I’m really excited about this White Queen character because I’m obsessed with Anne Hathaway.
I might be even more excited about Sacha Baron Cohen as Time because time in its literal sense is really jacked up, right? Or maybe it’s just me because I have three kids I am a little spastic at managing? I don’t know. Regardless, great casting.
And it’s not Alice in Wonderland in any sense of the words without our brave little Alice, played by Mia Wasikowska.
To get excited about the movie, watch this great, brand new trailer featuring P!NK’s haunting version of White Rabbit.
Hello, Alice! Watch the brand new trailer and prepare to go #ThroughTheLookingGlass on May 27. Get your tickets now: http://fandan.co/22YfgwU

If you’re a little mad and want to feel less mad, or if you’re super vanilla and need a little madness in your life, make sure you put May 27th down in your calendar as the day you visit your local theater for a little insanity courtesy Alice Through the Looking Glass director James Bobin and producers Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd & Jennifer Todd, and Tim Burton.
