So, I used to run this hilarious little meme every Monday called “Murphy’s Law Mondays”. I didn’t stop for lack of content, but because the abundance content began to overwhelm me. Alas, it is Monday and I do have some Murphy’s Law moments from the past week that I really need to get away from.
Like the glass that exploded all over $25 worth of short ribs. (never mind the letters and blog paraphernalia all over the counter).
Or how about the fact that as I sat down to create my first out of 14 PLANNED cocktail recipes for this contest, I gave myself a concussion. A pretty bad concussion that I am, a week later, still trying to recover from. How ’bout them apples?
SO please enjoy this strawberry martini recipe on me. It will take you far, far away to a well-deserved Mommy Time Out. You know we could all use one of those every once in a while. And if you don’t think so, then perhaps you need a few of these to bring you back down to reality.

Ingredients
- 2oz Pureed Strawberry
- 1.5oz Premium Vodka
- 1oz Simple Syrup
- .5oz Orange Liqueur
Directions
Step 1 | |
Pour strawberry puree into bottom of Martini glass | |
Step 2 | |
Shake remaining ingredients together over ice then strain into martini glass over strawberry puree. |
