I wrote this Bananas Foster Baked Alaska post as part of a sponsored post for #CollectiveBias and their client, but I couldn’t just stop there. I had to create another recipe, because you can’t have naughty without a little nice. So here’s my “nice” recipe.
Forget Cookie Monster. I’ve turned into the ice cream monster lately. I’ve been all up on the ice cream like houndstooth on a ‘Bama fan since I got back from my Royal Caribbean cruise. While I like it straight out of the pint cup, hiding in the corner of the sofa hoping the dust bunnies don’t find me out, I also enjoy finding new ways to enjoy my favorite indulgence.
There are certain things you can add to food that make you feel as though it’s a lot better for you than it is without those added ingredients, like berries. Berries are high in antioxidants, are a great brain food, and are fantastic for your metabolism. You pair berries with gelato? Psh. Magic happens, y’all.
Honestly, though. Name a dessert that is easier to make than parfait? There isn’t one. So without further ado, because parfait doesn’t need much fanfare, here’s the delicious, mouthwatering recipe for my new favorite parfait, using my favorite flavor of Häagen Dazs gelato.
