I feel like I should change this feature to “Fat Friday” because I don’t feel like I’m getting ANYWHERE. That’s partly my fault. It has been so difficult to eat right because I haven’t been planning. When I plan my meals out, or have an easy go-to like a nutritional shake, I eat SO much better. It’s the “skipping lunch then gorging on crackers before I pass out” thing that has me stuck. AND I don’t think I’m eating enough. My metabolism has tanked in the past 2 years and I am not helping my body out by not eating during certain intervals during the day.
I also only worked out twice this week but am getting ready to do some Physique 57 as I type this. I’m just waiting for Madilyn to wake up so I can work out while she’s eating her hour-long brunch.
I also decided this week that the Buddy System was going to be my best bet. My friend, Karen and I have teamed up to keep one another accountable to working out 5x/week. Once per week, she will be coming to my house to do a video and once per week I will be going to her house to do a video. The other 3 days we are in charge of doing our own workouts but we are supposed to hold one another accountable to eating well and working out. She really ripped into me yesterday for not eating lunch and then needing a Strawberry Lemonade from McDonald’s to counteract a migraine. That’s what everyone needs, someone who will be honest with them when the screw up. I don’t want someone to pat me on the back anymore and tell me that ‘it’s OK’ because it most definitely is NOT OK.
So how did I do this week?

Ending weight: 244
Weight Lost: 1lb
Not so great. So what is my plan for this up and coming week? I’m going to:
- Plan my meals and snacks so that it eliminates all of the guess work
- Use the Buddy System to keep me accountable to my food and working out
- NOT shower until I’ve worked out for the day
- Physique57 5x this week
- Drink LOTS of water!
