Today, we’re barefootin’. How many of you go barefoot most of the day?
I love being barefooted. Unfortunately, I have plantar fasciitis and have to wear sneakers all day, every day for the next couple of months. As I type that, I’m sitting here barefooted because I just PREFER to be that way. When I stand up I will put my sneakers on, though. Boo.
Diet: Today, Mark Sisson wants to remind us that when living in a Primal way, nutrition labels and conventional nutrition wisdom get thrown out the window. There is no need to count calories, fat grams, or fiber content when living this lifestyle. Isn’t that AMAZING? Focus on perimeter shopping and eating foods that are not sold with nutrition labels in the first place.
Exercise: Sprint workout: I’m not familiar with sprinting so today will be my first real Primal Sprint Workout. Find good information at Mark’s Daily Apple and check out this video:
Lifestyle: Tiptoe into the Barefoot World – IF being barefoot is not something that you are used to, only do it for short periods of time. The goal is to get your feet and body to work together in their natural state. Being in tune with your body IS the very core of living primally.
